Born in Michigan, Lois Surerus was blessed to grow up in a Christian home. Her parents taught her about God from birth, and she received the Lord as her Savior at the young age of four. As a teen, Lois became involved in teaching 5 Day Clubs with Child Evangelim Fellowship, worked in Awana Clubs and helped her mother in the 4 & 5 year old classes at her local church. She attended Grand Rapids Baptist College, and the Child Evangelism Fellowship Leadership Training Institue. In 1986 Lois moved to the Los Angeles area to serve with Child Evangelism Fellowship as a local director. In 1993 she moved to Washington where she met her husband Jon, and they now have two children ages 9 & 10. Since moving to Washington, Lois has been the Children's Director in two local churches, and currently works with her family in a puppet ministry.
